The Channel Company (CRN) came out with their annual 10 Top IoT Startups Of 2018 list, and Axonize was at the top! They looked specifically at the top channel-friendly IoT startups set to make big moves in 2018.

What is a Channel-friendly IoT Startup?Channel-friendly IoT companies are those who partner with a manufacturer or producer to market and sell the manufacturer’s goods, services or technologies, usually done through a co-branding relationship. More specifically to our industry, this is accomplished by partnering with system integrators, system providers, MSPs and other solution providers.
With venture capital funding for IoT startups reaching a whopping $1.46 billion last year, and international IoT spending set to reach an even higher record of $772.5 billion this year, new opportunities for channel partnering are popping up everywhere. (CRN)

The Importance of Channel PartneringChannel Partnering differs from a typical business-customer relationship in one major way – its a partnership, not just a customer. Both partners bring value to the table, and collaboration is critical in order to reach shared goals. Success in channel partnering comes when the right business processes and technology combine to increase the value for both partners.
There are many benefits in channel partnering, for both parties involved, including increased productivity, loyalty and engagement and a greater profitability, consistency and predictability.
Channel partnering with the IoT industry is typically accomplished with a partnership between the IoT platform company and the system integrators and system providers. Both system integrators and providers use the IoT platform to implement various types of IT and IT projects, providing enterprises with their data services. Collaborating with an IoT platform allows them to utilize the many features of the IoT platform while connecting it with their services. It’s a win-win for both companies involved.

Axonize is Leading the PackHow was Axonize selected as one of the top IoT startups of 2018?
Axonize was founded by back-end server experts with years of IoT coding and building experience. As CRN states, “it bills itself as the ‘only IoT platform built for system integrators.’”
After raising more than $6 million this year, which included a “substantial investment” from one of its channel partners, Deutsche Telecom, Axonize was officially put on the map as a leading IoT startup.
Axonize’s IoT platform is based on Microsoft Azure, allowing for cross-application orchestration and management, fast development time and is purpose-built for both IoT system integrators and service providers that works with any sensor, hardware, protocol or system from any industry.
It’s a channel-friendly startup at the core, providing the technology and analytics both system integrators and system providers value and need to implement their IoT projects.
